Mavericks Basketball!

Dirk Nowitzki was injured in the beginning of last years season. When he came back he was a little bit rusty but then he got his groove back. By that time it was to late for the Mavs to make the playoffs.With Nowitzki healthy Mavs will rejoin the Western Conference playoffs this season. Mavs brought in big names in this offseason. Monta Ellis(Bucks),Jose Calderon(Raptors-Pistons),Devin Harris(Hawks), Dequan Blair(Spurs). In my eyes Caledron is one of the best point guards in the league.He has great decision making and also could make the shot when he needs to. Devin Harris is back with Dallas. Last year at Atlanta Harris averaged 9.9 points per game. Since Collison is out of Dallas, Calderon will take point and Ellis will play shooting guard,leaving Harris to come off the bench in the Six man role. Dejuan Blair is a good backup forward. Blair is physical and can get big rebounds.Mavericks will fight their way into the playoffs. First game Oct 30th vs Hawks.
